Itinerary
We will start with the tour very early in the morning, our team will pick you up from your hotel and then we will go in a tourist bus to the town of Ollantaytambo, where the train station is located and then we will board our train that will take us on a journey of 2 hours to the town of Aguas Calientes.
Once in Aguas Calientes, our guide will be waiting for us to take us to the bus station, being there we will travel about 30 minutes to get to the “Sanctuary of Machu Picchu” also known as “The lost citadel of the Incas”.
After showing the ticket and entering Machu Picchu, our guide will start with the excursion where we will visit the main attractions such as: the guardian’s enclosure, the main square, the circular tower, the sacred sundial, the temple of the condor and many others. During the excursion we will have free time to take pictures and explore more places on our own.
After the visit to Machu Picchu, we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes and in the afternoon we will board the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo where the agency staff will be waiting to take us to the city of Cusco.
